Community Over Competition

Back in June, we were honored to find out that for the third year in a row we won Best of Plymouth in the categories, Best Hair Salon and Best Apparel Boutique! It made us stop and think how grateful we are for this community that we have the privilege of serving. We sometimes joke that people are starting to roll their eyes now when they see us say that, but there is a deeper philosophical reason to why we express the gratitude we do.
At Urban Eve, we believe that community isn’t just who walks through our doors — it’s how we show up for each other, cheer each other on, and make space for everyone to shine. We don’t see other businesses or creatives as competitors; we see them as collaborators in a greater purpose — to make our city more vibrant, more connected, and more compassionate.
